Witness and Innocent Bystander
This morning was a working morning for me... in other words I got up really REALLY early... like 7 o'clock am! First I needed a lunch, second my mom needed gas, and third I REALLY wanted a morning Sobe! So we stopped by the gas station. I waited in the car and tied my shoes while my mom did all the above. I watched as a boy no older than 17 slowly made his way into the store, he kept looking around like he was really paranoid. My mom was in the store working on #1 and #3 and I was worried about her safety, as maybe this man was coming in to rob and had a gun. Talking my self out of the ridiculous idea I went on with tying my shoes… but kept my eye on the boy. He came up to the register and asked to see one of the scratch off lotto tickets... like any normal human would do... he was searching in this pockets for some cash when he started walking to the door. The man behind the cash register said something and the boy said something back, he looked around the parking lot. Then out of no where he jetted off, made a sharp left and was out of eye range. The cashier "jumped over" the counter and ran after him! I was amazed that I had witnessed the whole thing up front! The cashier came back empty handed... not that a 20$ scratch off lotto ticket really mattered much... then we left .......and ......I went to work... that’s it I guess...
